Change

I woke up this morning and had no clue what to do for this, no theme, no subject idea, nothing. Nada. Zilch. Other words for zero. But then, inspiration hit(at like eleven o'clock at night but don't mind that) as I looked at what I like to call Little Crow. She was born when I nearly broke down in my dance class when I couldn't find a crucial academic thing which ironically I can't remember now. Might have been a pencil. Anyway, I didn't trust my brush and sensory stuff like finger painting cuz of the different textures and temperatures. They distract me. I wanted to do something productive so I made her. I named her Little Crow cuz her clothes and hair look almost like feathers and calling her Little Raven felt off. She gave me inspiration. Art is the main thing linking all of this together, hence the paints and paint covered hand and portrait itself. All of the two watercolor portraits I've done give me an old 1900s photo vibe. Like they're ghosts or something, thus the spooky old glitch photo of Little Crow, the weird slight deep-fry of my paints, and the sort of home movie quality of the painted hand. They all reminded me of horror games I've heard of and wanted to play although I can't remember the names. Its contribution to the art world is pretty much just weird VHS photos of my painting skills(or lack there of but I love her anyway). Personally it makes me happy and even though this is for a grade I really think that's all that matters, that I'm having fun with what I'm doing and can take pride in it because it makes me happy. Again, me with the stupidly sappy description/summary/thingy and the blurry photos, it just never ends it seems. Hope you sort of like it at least.
